Tending the Soil: Supporting Seed Zines

Ways to care for the soils & roots of this project:

Seed Zines is a slow, human offering — rooted in love, truth, curiosity, and connection.

If you’ve felt a joyful spark, a sense of resonance, or received something nourishing from these creations, I invite you into energetic exchange—whatever feels aligned.

Give if you feel full. Share if you feel inspired. Trust what feels good in your body.

Make a Feels-Good $ Exchange

One way to make an energetic exchange is sending money via Venmo.

  • Venmo: @RebeccaRoots (last four: -1437)
(Any gift helps cover ongoing project costs—photocopying, paper, ink, envelopes, stamps, website hosting—and gently waters future ideas. I have many, and I’m listening closely to what wants to unfold.)

Spread the Seeds

Supporting the project doesn’t have to involve money. Here are other ways to help the seeds travel:

  • Print and share a free zine with someone who might love it
(Try What Is a Seed Zine? — it works beautifully as a handmade flyer)
  • Leave a zine in a café, waiting room, Little Free Library, or forest path
  • Create a pop-up zine stand in your neighborhood
  • Tell a friend about this project, and what it stirred in you. Perhaps the conversation will lead somewhere you’d never expect!
  • Journal for 5 minutes about the “seeds” you’re planting through your everyday interactions.
  • Share your own seed of beauty, in whatever way your soul wants to express. (Paper zines are one of my joys. What’s one of yours?)
  • Encourage others to spread seeds in their own ways.

Share What Moved You

Another way to tend the soil is to share how a zine touched you. A small shift, a moment of resonance.
These reflections are like compost and sunshine — they help new creations grow.

To share with me, you can email seedzines@proton.me
I read everything with care and gratitude.

You can also nurture the soils by letting folks in your life know what moved you. Thanking a friend for their thoughtful card. Complimenting your cashier on the bright cheerful colors they chose in their outfit. Telling your neighbor how delightful their flowers are.

Thank you for being part of the unfolding.
